Day 01 :- Delhi to Shimla
Our driver or reprentative will receive you on arrival at Delhi airport or Railway station as per schedul. Starts your journey towrads Shimla. Shimla has been blessed with natural beauty and is surrounded by green pastures and snow-capped peaks. Its green valleys, the beauty of its trees, pine, oak and deodar and its beautiful weather attract the tourists throughout the year. On arrival check in the hotel & take a walking tour of Shimla. Night stay at hotel in Shimla.
Day 02:- Shimla local sightseeing (Kufri Hills & Mall Road)
After Breakfast at hotel, start your Shimla tour with Kufri. It is famous for its trekking and hiking trails. Adventure-seeking travelers throng Kufri in winters to enjoy skiing and tobogganing along its snow-covered slopes. Kufri is also famous for its nature parks and picnic spots. After Lunch visit Mall Road, Jakoo Hill, Vice Regal Lodge, Scandal Point Christ Church and Lakkad Bazaar. Vice Regal Lodge(1855) - It was formerly the residence of the British Viceroy of India. Scandal Point Christ Church(1844) - It is the second oldest church in North India, after St John Church in Meerut. Jakoo Hill - The highest peak in Shimla, featuring an ancient temple, trees & a huge statue of Hindu god Hanuman. Lakkar Bazaar - Shops offer wooden articles targeted mainly at tourists. Later back to the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03:- Shimla - Manali via Kullu
After Breakfast check out the hotel and transferred to Manali. On the way visit Kullu Valley.Kullu is famous for its temples, vast and beautiful majestic hills which are covered in Pine and Deodar forests. Boost your adrenaline rush while you enjoy White Water Rafting in the gushing waters of the Beas River (on your own). Manali is a beautiful township, It is a rustic enclave known for its cool climate and snow-capped mountains, offering respite to tourists escaping scorching heat of the plains. On arrival at Manali check in the hotel and realx for some time. Overnight in Manali.
Day 04:- Manali City tour
In the morning after breakfast visit Hadimba Temple, Vashisth Kund, Manu Mandir, Arjun Gufa and Tibetan Monastry & Handicraft Centre. Afternoon Picnic Lunch at Apple orchid, Evening is at leisure or you may enjoy shopping on the mall road (on your own). Manali is named after the Sanatan Hindu law giver Manu. The name Manali is regarded as the derivative of 'Manu-Alaya' which literally means 'the abode of Manu'. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05:- Manali -Solang Valley- Manali
After breakfast drive to Solang Valley. Solang Valley derives its name from combination of words Solang and Nallah. It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass. Solang Valley offers breathtaking views of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. here you can also enjoy the parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing (own Exps). After sightseeing back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Manali.
Day 06:- Manali to Dharamshala
In the Morning after Breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed towards Dharamshala on the way you may visit at Baijnath known for its Shiva Temple and after that you can watch Tea gardens at Palampur. It is surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. The Thekchen Chöling Temple Complex is a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism, Dharamhsala is a very famous hill-station of Himachal lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra district, It is known for its breath taking beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. On arrival check in the hotel and Night stay in Dharmshala.
Day 07:- Dharamshala City tour and Dharamshala to Dalhousie
Next Morning after mouthwatering Breakfast at hotel, In Dharamshala there are a lot of famous places to visit which includes Tibetan carpet-weaving factory , Norbulinga Institute , Chinmaya Tapovan , 9m tall Lord Hanuman image, Ram Temple Dalai lama residence, Tsuglagkhang Complex and Namgyal Monastery. Manage some free time to visit the market at Mcleodganj also known as little Lhasa. Also visit Famous St. John in the Wilderness Church, War memorial, Bhagsu Nag Temple, Bhagsu Falls, Dal Lake. Post or Best itinerary for Dharamshala tour, After all sightseeing move towards Dalhousie which is the next destination of your tour. On arrival check in hotel, Overnight Stay in Dalhousie.
Day 08:- Dalhousie sightseeing tour
After breakfast at hotel go for Dalhousie local sightseeing. Dalhousie is a high-altitude town spread across 5 hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range. It's home to colonial-era buildings, including St. Francis and St. John’s churches, which date back to the rule of the British Raj in the 1800s. It is surrounded by pines, dodders, oaks and flowering rhododendron. Panjpulla, Subash Bowli, and Stature Falls , Khajjiar also known as mini Switzerland. The major attractions in Dalhousie are Panjipula, Subhash Baoli, Stature Falls and Khajjiar 24 kms from Dalhousie. Khajjar is also known as mini Switzerland. Overnight stay at horel in Dalhousie.
Day 09:- Dalhousie to Katra
This morning after breakfast at hotel, check out and drive to Holy city Katra, home to holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, It is situated in Reasi district of Union territory Jammu and Kashmir, India. Katra act as the base for devotees who visit Mata Vaishno devi. It one of the most visited holy destination of India lakhs of pilgrims visit here every month, On arrival check-in hotel in Katra, Rest of the evening free for shopping or you can enjoy panoramic view of Katra. Night stay in Katra.
Day 10:- Katra Vaishno Devi darshan
Today early morning breakfast and get ready and it will be most exciting day of your entire you, Star trekking to Mata Vaishno devi main temple which 14kms from Katra at the Trikuta Mountains, Mata Vaishno devi temple or Mata rani temple is one of Holiest temple in India, Vaishno devi is Hindu Temple dedicated to the Goddess Vaishnavi other form of Goddess Durga. Katra to Vaishno Devi trekking normally takes 4-5 hrs each way, you have to get yatra parchi or yatra token in Katra before trekking. Post Mata Vaishno Devi darshan don't forget to visit Bhairo Baba Temple because without that Mata Rani Darshan is incomplete, you can use now cable car to reach Bhairo Baba Temple, Post Darshan return back to hotel in Katra for night stay.
Day 11:- Katra to Amritsar
Int he morning after breakfast at hotel check out and proceed towards Amritsar. On arrival check in hotel and go for Amritsar local sightseeing, The main attraction is the famous Golden Temple, It is also known as the Darbar Sahib and Harmandir Sahib. This holiest Gurdwara is the most important pilgrimage site for Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe. It is located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab and Later visit Jallianwala Bagh is a historical park where Jallianwala Bagh Massacre took place on April 13,1919. In Jallianwala, British troops fired on a large crowd of unarmed Indians, killing and injuring to several hundred people. Post Lunch today enjoy an beating retreat ceremony between India and Pakistan at Atari - Wagha border (One needs to reach there by 3:00 PM). Stay overnight in Amritsar.
Day 12:- Amritsar to Chandigarh
After Breakfast check out the hotel and transferred to Chandigarh. Chandigarh, the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, was designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. On the way visit famous Pinjore Garden and Rock Garden, Zakir Hussain Rose Garden. On arrival at Chandigarh check in the hotel and relax for some time. Rest of the day is at leisure. Zakir Hussain Rose Garden - Asia’s largest rose garden with 50,000 rose-bushes of 1600 different species. On arrival at Chandigarh check in the hotel and take rest after long journey. Overnnight stay in Chandigarh.
Day 13:- Chandigarh sightseeing tour and Delhi Drop.
This is the last dayof your ‘Himachal Special’ tour. After breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel and go for places to visit in Chandigarh you may also visit famous Sukhna Lake.
